About Me

Hey there! I’m Dr. Erika Simpson, a board certified Ob/Gyn and a leader in women's healthcare. My passion lies in providing comprehensive care to women throughout their lifespan, and I work as a full-time general Ob/Gyn at a large healthcare organization.

Apart from providing medical care, I also offer educational services on sexual and reproductive health to my patients, colleagues, staff, students, and the community. I'm super involved in resident and student education, and I teach across multiple disciplines including family medicine, Ob/Gyn, and midwifery.

In fact, in 2018, I developed my own sexual health class along with teaching other related classes on various topics in women's health. I'm always looking for ways to enhance my knowledge and skills, which is why I completed the Sexual Health Certificate program at the University of Michigan in 2019. This gave me a certificate in sexuality education and counseling, which has further improved my ability to provide comprehensive care to my patients.

To me, a career in medicine isn't just a job, but a privilege to work with and care for women when they are most vulnerable. I'm truly dedicated to the field of women's health and my passion for sexuality education across the lifespan shines through in my daily interactions with patients, staff, colleagues, and the community.
